This Privacy Policy explains how College Path ("we", "us", "our"), accessible at mycollegepath.in, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our admission-guidance platform.

Your account and academic data are stored securely using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore database) — the same shared Firebase project also used by our sister platform College Connect, which applies industry-standard encryption and access controls. Access to your data within our team is limited to what is necessary to provide counselling support.

By submitting your mobile number, you consent to receiving admission updates, cutoff alerts, and counselling messages via WhatsApp, SMS, or phone call. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time by contacting us.
We may use cookies or local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences (e.g. selected district/category filters). We do not use this data for third-party advertising.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide counselling support for the relevant admission cycle. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time (see Section 10).
Our service is used by students (typically 17+) generally with parental involvement for admission decisions. We do not knowingly collect data from children without a parent/guardian's awareness, given the nature of the college-admission process.
You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by us by writing to info@mycollegepath.in. We will respond within a reasonable time.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your login credentials confidential.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
