B.Sc Nursing eligibility and admission process
Eligibility. A pass in +2 (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with a minimum 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together (40% for SC / SCA / ST candidates). You must have completed 17 years of age on 31 December of the year of admission. Candidates must be medically fit as certified by the admitting authority.
NEET is not required. Unlike MBBS and BDS, B.Sc Nursing admission in Tamil Nadu is made on +2 marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, not on a NEET score.
Admission process. Applications are made to the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) / Selection Committee, which publishes a merit list based on PCB marks and conducts counselling with communal reservation applied. Government college seats are filled first through this counselling; self-financing colleges fill government-quota seats through the same process and management-quota seats directly.

Every college on this page is affiliated to the university and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and/or the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNN&MC) — the affiliation lists record which.
