- Closing rank is the last All India Rank admitted — if your rank is lower (better) than the closing rank, you had a realistic chance for that college in that round.
- Round 1 is the toughest cutoff; ranks rise in Round 2 and 3 as seats fill, so later rounds can open more colleges to you.
- These are General (OPEN) ranks. OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PwD cutoffs are higher (larger numbers) — check your exact category in the finder.
- AIQ is only the 15% route; Tamil Nadu also fills 85% seats via state quota counselling.
