JEE Advanced 2026 Result Analysis: Who Appeared, Who Qualified
The full picture from the official 2026 and 2025 result press releases — every category, women, PwD, zones and qualifying marks — and what those ranks then bought in JoSAA.
JEE (Advanced) 2026 was held on 17 May 2026 and organised by IIT Roorkee; results came on 1 June 2026. Shubham Kumar topped the Common Rank List with 330/360 (IIT Delhi zone). Arohi Deshpande was the top woman at CRL 77 with 280/360. In 2025 the topper, Rajit Gupta, scored 332.

Women were 22.6% of those who appeared and 17.8% of those who qualified (2025: 22.9% and 17.3%). The IITs’ female-only supernumerary seats exist because of exactly this gap — the IIT rank analysis measures how much looser those seats close.

Out of 360 (120 per subject). A candidate must clear both the per-subject minimum and the aggregate minimum for a list.

The CRL aggregate went from 74 to 92 because the percentage thresholds themselves were raised (20.56%% to 25.56%% of 360 for the CRL, and in the same proportion for every other list). Even so, more candidates qualified than in 2025.
