This page lists them college by college as the expected Round 3 vacancy, and will carry the Selection Committee’s official Round 3 list the day it is published.

Eligibility for Round 3 (who may register, whether Round 2 joiners can upgrade, and the resignation cut-off) is set by the Committee’s Round 3 notification; we will quote it here when it is out. Until then: check your own Round 2 status with the application-number checker and read the college-wise Round 2 result for closing marks.
Not yet (checked 22 September 2026). The Selection Committee publishes the official Round 3 vacancy after Round 2 joining, which closed on 19 September 2026 after a one-day extension. This page shows the seats that were not allotted in Round 2 according to the Committee's own allotment lists — a floor for the official figure — and will be updated with the official PDF.
NRI seats need NRI-sponsored candidates and carry the highest fee, so 536 of the 597 seats left are NRI. Government, management and minority quota seats were filled almost completely in Round 2; new seats there will come from candidates who do not join.
On paper, government-college MBBS and BDS have no seats left after Round 2. Every year some allottees do not join or resign, and those seats appear in the official Round 3 vacancy — typically a few dozen — so keep those choices in your list, but do not plan around them.

That depends on the Committee's Round 3 notification and the resignation rules (Notification No. 25 opened a resignation portal for Round 1 joiners). Do not assume an upgrade option exists in Round 3; check the notification when it is published.
