VITEEE 2027 Exam Date (27 April – 2 May) and Amrita AEEE 2027 (15 April – 7 May)

VITEEE 2027 will be held from 27 April to 2 May 2027 (tentative) and its online application opened on 20 October 2026, with 31 March 2027 as the last date. Amrita’s AEEE 2027 will be held between 15 April and 7 May 2027; Amrita says B.Tech 2027 applications open in November 2026. Both dates are from the universities’ own admission pages as on 21 October 2026.

Neither exam clashes with JEE Main Session 1 (22–30 January 2027). Both fall in the April–May season with JEE Main Session 2 and NEET UG, whose 2027 dates NTA has not announced yet — book exam slots only after those are out.

VITEEE 2027 at a glance

Exam: computer-based, 2 hours, multiple-choice questions; candidates may appear only once for VITEEE 2027.
Application fee: ₹1,450.
Who can apply: Class 12 passed in 2025 or 2026, or appearing in 2027, through regular full-time study with English as a subject; date of birth on or after 1 July 2004. Those who passed Class 12 in 2024 or earlier are not eligible.
Subjects: candidates choose MPCEA (Mathematics) or BPCEA (Biology) in the form.
Campuses: VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai (deemed university), VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal (state private universities). Campus and branch are chosen only at counselling, by VITEEE rank.
No management quota: VIT says B.Tech admission is only on the VITEEE 2027 rank.

AEEE 2027 at a glance

Exam: Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering, a national-level computer-based test for B.Tech admission at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s campuses.
Who can apply: students appearing for Class 12 or equivalent in 2027, subject to Amrita’s eligibility rules.
Two routes: Amrita also admits on the JEE Main percentile, and a candidate may use both routes.
Process: registration → slot booking → admit card → AEEE → Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP).
2026 for reference: AEEE 2026 ran in two phases (29 January – 1 February and 25 – 30 April 2026) with a ₹1,300 registration fee. The 2027 page gives one window, 15 April – 7 May, and no 2027 fee yet.

Planning 2027 around these exams

January: JEE Main Session 1 (22–30 Jan 2027). A JEE Main percentile can also be used for Amrita.
By 31 March: submit the VITEEE form; register for AEEE once Amrita opens it in November.
April–May: AEEE (15 Apr – 7 May), VITEEE (27 Apr – 2 May), JEE Main Session 2 and NEET UG. Choose slots that do not clash once NTA dates its exams.
May–June: VIT counselling (from the 2nd week of May) and Amrita CSAP, alongside TNEA, KCET and other state counselling.
